Intense double cask bottling of 'BØG'

To make “PX” we have hand-picked three extra intense Pedro Ximenez sherry hogsheads and paired them with a part of a larger PX sherry butt with beechwood smoke to complete this composition for this deep sweet and complex whisky with sweet aromas of raisins, brown sugar, earthiness and a rich oily mouth feel with a hint of warming beechwood smoke.
This whisky is bottled at cask strength for the full unfiltered whisky experience.

Beechwood smoke

Smoking the malt for whisky is a powerful flavor enhancer. In the style of traditional Danish smokehouses, we primarily use beechwood instead of peat. Beechwood is a more sustainable source of smoke. But it also delivers a warm, sweet, charcoal-like, and rich smoke that we've come to love.
