A Day in Thy
We fill the courtyard with activity. Whisky tastings* are held throughout the day. We welcome guest distilleries, transform the distillery into a sensory experience, and the courtyard buzzes with life.
Tastings and conversations, fantastic drams, food trucks serving the best dishes from Thy, brewers, distilleries, industry experts, and enthusiasts.
In the evening, we gather around the bonfire, sing a song, and enjoy the coziest whisky tasting of the year by the light of the flames.
The PROGRAMME
A full day in Thy. The courtyard comes alive with activity. Whisky tastings* will take place throughout the day. We welcome guest distilleries, transform the distillery into a sensory experience, and fill the courtyard with a lively buzz.
Tastings and conversations, fantastic drams, food trucks serving the best dishes from Thy, brewers, distilleries, professionals, and whisky enthusiasts.
In the evening, we gather around the bonfire, sing a song, and host the coziest whisky tasting of the year in the glow of the flames.

TICKETS 46€
The Festival Ticket Includes:
- Thy Whisky Glass
- 10 tokens for whisky (value: 150 DKK)
- Day program with activities in the distillery and courtyard
- Access to tastings, workshops, and experiences throughout the estate
- Evening program with whisky tasting by the bonfire (4 whiskies)
The final tasting program will be released no later than April 1, 2025.
Stay and sleep
Plenty of options for everyone.
We offer a wide range of activities for those driving home, and you can absolutely enjoy a great day at the Thy Whisky Festival without consuming alcohol. However, an overnight stay can make the experience even better.
Bring your own caravan or tent, or book a stay at one of the local hotels or B&Bs, and let us handle the transport. We’re arranging buses to and from several hotels for your convenience
BBQ on Hot, Beer is Cold
Between tasting sessions, you'll need a breather and something to satisfy your hunger.
Three food trucks will serve the best Thy has to offer, whether you’re craving stone-baked pizza or Thy’s finest burger.
At the beer bar, you can enjoy an ice-cold, freshly brewed draft beer made by our good friends.
Please note, there will be no communal dining this year. Instead, you can grab a bite whenever you like—all day long.
WHISKY BY THE FIRE
As the evening sets in, we gather around the fire - chatting and enjoying the night. Along the way, we serve 4 whiskies - each presented by one of our guests. A casual tasting you'll remember and included in your festival ticket.
