The good moments, the company of neighbors, whisky enthusiasts, and good friends here at the distillery have always been our favorite days, so the dream of a whisky festival in Thy has long been in our minds. This year, we're making it happen. On June 22, 2024, right here at Thy Whisky Distillery. A day of cozy gatherings, great whisky from Thy and around the world, nature, food.

The PROGRAMME
A full day in Thy. We fill the courtyard with activity. Hosting whisky tastings* all day long. Welcoming guest distilleries, filling the distillery with sensory experiences, and the courtyard buzzes with activity. After a long day of tastings and chats, we gather around the long table for a communal meal cooked over the fire. In the evening, we gather around the fire, sing a song, and hold the coziest whisky tasting of the year in the glow of the flames. *Tickets sold separately.

BBQ on Hot, Beer is Cold
In between tasting sessions, you'll need to take a breather and satisfy your hunger. We'll be grilling burgers made from our organic beef and serving up ice-cold freshly brewed beer from our good friends at Gamma Brewing, Bad Seed Brewing, and of course, Thisted Bryghus. In the evening, everyone gathers for a communal meal from the grill. (Food ticket sold separately).
RELEASE OF THE NEW THY WHISKY
For over a year, we've been intensely working on how to bottle our whisky. With the series 'A New Beginning,' you've been able to follow along. With the release of Thy Whisky No. 24 - 8 years, we're finally ready to present the future of Thy Whisky. We officially release the bottles on Saturday at 12 PM.
WHISKY BY THE FIRE
As the evening sets in, we gather around the fire - chatting and enjoying the night. Along the way, we serve 4 whiskies - each presented by one of our guests. A casual tasting you'll remember and included in your festival ticket.
